The Challenge
ChargeHyve, a company developing innovative e-bike charging solutions, approached us with a request to design a welcome poster for their office space. As a growing brand in the sustainable mobility sector, their goal was to make their office instantly identifiable to visitors while reinforcing their brand identity. The poster needed to be readable from a distance, visually aligned with their existing branding, and impactful without overwhelming the space. This project required us to translate brand values such as speed, innovation, and clarity into a physical product that could communicate them at a glance.
The Solution
We began by exploring layout concepts that would maximise visibility and brand recognition. Using a large, bold typeface, we ensured the text could be easily read from outside the office or down a hallway. The ChargeHyve logo was prominently placed to anchor the design and build brand familiarity. To create a stronger visual connection between the poster and ChargeHyve’s core identity, we incorporated a lightning bolt shape into the composition. Rendered in the same colour as the logo, the lightning symbol served as both a stylistic and symbolic element, conveying speed, energy, and the nature of fast charging. Its placement on the poster helped tie together the text, logo, and overall brand narrative.
The poster went through several iterations, with multiple rounds of feedback from the ChargeHyve team. We refined both the layout and messaging, adjusting spacing, typography, and hierarchy to strike a balance between clarity and impact. The final version features the tagline:
“Welcome to the Future of E-Bike Charging.” This message captures the company’s mission and warmly welcomes visitors to their space.
Once printed, the poster was tested on-site to ensure legibility and print quality. We assessed how it performed under different lighting conditions and at various distances to confirm its effectiveness in the physical environment. The result was a poster that functions not just as signage but as a branded touchpoint, communicating ChargeHyve’s vision while making their office space more recognisable and inviting.
